we are told prices are because of supply and demand, but yet with the world in resession and millions not driving to work daily. We all have to bitch to our people in office and tell them were not drinking the kool-aid anymore.

China is at it again amoung others including our gov. who makes an aweful lot per gal for doing nothing.. Their stimulas package is starting to kick into gear. Almost all of it went to infrastructure (unlike ours )and it is working big time. They are starting to buy steel again too.It is getting scary ,wait til the inflation hits.Anyone know Chinese

I dont get it $ 2.70 a gallon today, the resession is over my @ss! Im still workin 32 hrs a week at my full-time job! Steel prices are actually back to normal now, never saw the price drop that low as far as i could remember. sold 2 loads of light iron early spring for 60$ ton- before everything hit the fan I was getting 175 for the same load .I rember getting 70-80$ back in the early 90s.

NO....we aren't "lucky"..........you are just more "unlucky" than we are!
Damn Arabs and oil men have us by our bollocks!
Good thing I "mainly" drive British cars that get 40mpg.
( I have fantasies of our classic machines converted to nice cheap & clean hydrogen...........driving about to our hearts content.....The weather back to normal.......Not seeing everything in stores being MADE IN FRIGGIN CHINA...........and Arabs back to cooking goat meat over camel dung fires in the deserts instead of buying up the world as they drive about in their Rollers. And kids with their underwear in their pants that actually fit again)
Talk about a fantasy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
