I did not make it there. I saw the notification and was planning to make it my first A108 road trip, but the Friday before Bakers, my new water pump sprung a major leak. It was my fault. After nearly 50 years of automotive repair, I'd managed to put the pump gasket on BACKWARDS! Senior moments really do happen. Luckily it happened while pulling into the garage so no harm done. I can't speak for Tim as we just met by chance at the cruise-in. My next attempt will be a day at Norwalk.
