Re: IFS 61-67 Swap out
I am in the middle of a restomod for my 62 ePup and had the shop install a mustang II type front end. It was very expensive from a time/labor standpoint and took a lot of engineering and fab to make it happen.
You can find some pix of my build here and you can see how it was built out.

This has about 128 images of various stages of the build. Once you find the pictures of the motor, you will find the front end work.

All of the work has been custom fabricated.

Thanks, I can't take credit for it. The work is being done by Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle in Addison, IL.
The rear end will have coil overs, no bags.

Re: IFS 61-67 Swap out
Just checked out that photo album, looking good misterbee! I'm also curious about a mustang 2 swap. Seems like there is probably a universal kit that would make a good starting point, realizing that there will still be lots of custom fab work involved. I just want to know that the ride is worth the effort. Anybody got feedback who's driven both stock and IFS?

Re: IFS 61-67 Swap out
I'm not sure which components the shop used, but there are many Mustang II kits out there. They have to measured carefully and then welded up to the subframe, which is a job for a pro I think.
A Mustang II provides modern steering and handling and superior ride. The rear suspension if four-link.
