    Crawled under the van today and I was looking at the trans mount and trans. It doesnt look stock to me. scratch I know motor work was done to it years back. I know somebody here will know. Smile

    looks correct for your application. a-108 with auto and by the muffler placement slant six. you have the better slip joint style front u-joint also. the short wheelbase vans and trucks sometimes have an extension housing half as long as that one pictured, mabey 8" in length.

    Yah, the u-joint was the first thing I noticed, no ball and trunnion. Just made me wonder about the rest. It has the 318, its way to quiet, you cant even hear it. That muffler has to go! Maybe a flowmaster? Thanks for the info jkr. Smile
