Greeting Earthlings! I am in the early stages of planning the Baker's 2017 Gathering of the Earlies. I just finished typing my letter which I send out to various companies looking for donations for door prizes, and raffle prizes. I am not doing goody bags - just too time consuming. Plus I'd like to dedicate more time to the show itself. It seems once we get organized and done with registration it's time to pack up. I'm trying to make this more of a Gathering than a competition, although I still plan on awards of some type. I will still be doing dash plaques since they are always a big hit. Please spread the word. I will have a flier soon which I will post on here. And if any of you need some fliers to hand out or post elsewhere please message me. Or if you have any input or questions, please message me. So mark your calendars and we'll see you soon!!!

Vanny, nice catch!!! Here I thought I was being efficient and left out the key element. The date is Sunday, June 25th, 2017 - always the last Sunday in June.
And you're welcome! I'll continue to do what I can to keep G-Mans dream alive!

Vanny, thank you so much for posting the flier. I have been meaning to do it and always get distracted. Please everyone, pass the word! I've sent out my letters requesting items for prizes/raffles and have already received two boxes of goodies! Baker's 2017 is exactly 12 weeks from today and it will be here before you know it.

Looking at the poster it just dawned on me that Chevy didn't make a pick-up version of their van. Except for the Corsair version. Strange I never noticed that before.
Anyway, Your event looks like a good time! Too bad it's so far away.

Only 7 weeks till the 13th Annual Gathering of the Earlies and Baker's of Milford! Please continue to spread the word! Getting excited and nervous at the same time. Always lots to do and much of it is last minute. What I forgot to put on my flier is that even though there is no admission and/or registration fee I would like everyone to bring canned food items we can donate to a local food bank. Since we always have a great turnout with lots of generous vanners I thought we should also go one step further and help others in need or who are less fortunate than us. See you soon! Keep on Truckin'.

Just wrapped up Baker's 2017 and had a great turnout! 53 people registered. Our "grassy hill" was loaded with vanners and spectators and the weather held out even though we had cool temperatures and lots of breeze. Thanks to all who participated - because of you the show is a great success! And yes, please post any/all pictures. I didn't take any because I'm a bit too busy running the show. The only problem (Dodge Boys) is we didn't have any first generation Dodge vans! Thanks again to all and see you next year!!!

Congrats Bill, I'm sure Chris put in a request to have the weather hold out for you and the vanners!
You're doing a Great job at keeping the show and GMan's memory alive!

Looks like a Great Show...Well Done! Would have loved being there wearing a sweatshirt and long pants instead of being in this 115 degree heat!
