It probably is bolted to the wall behind the Right rear tail light like 1st gens,,,,,

,,,and some people dont like tripping over the spare inside the van,,,,,they hang it on the left rear door,,,,I got my full sized 15" spare mounted above the rear end,,,,but my van is jacked up a little,,,,,a Cadillac toy spare fits our vans if you need something smaller,,,,,,
