    Here are some pics so far You will see the EGR port I was talking about also what is the square fitting coming out of the drivers side of the intake manifold just below the carb?The system now is cable operated so you will see the bellcrank I had to fabricate to make the cable, pull only.

    that is the hot idle compensator,,,,,,when the engine is hot, it opens up to let air in to speed up the engine,,,,,,,
