OhOh, installed the new radiator,but the top hose hits the blades. No way to re position the radiator so if anyone has a 5 blade fan could you measure the length of the blade to see if the blade is shorter than 9" If not I guess I'll have to go aftermarket for a smaller fan. Or have a machine shop shorten the blades. Kooky might be able to help I got the same radiator as he got.

A factory 1st gen 6 cyl fan has 4 blades, and measures 18" across.
We installed that radiator in my buddy William's '67 and he did have an aftermarket fan. Not sure how large it is. I just talked to him and when he gets home he will measure it.

I recall with that cougar radiator, we had to drill new holes in the flange of the radiator to locate the radiator in the van. Maybe you need to re-drill your holes in order to move the radiator up?

Thanks Kooky I just bought an aftermarket from Summit It'd 17" across so it might be just right.
