I am considering replaceing my leaf springs, front and back, with McVeigh springs, has anyone used there springs before, I am concerned new springs might raise the van up to high. If anyone has used this brand before would it be possible to give me height measurements maybe from the belly of the spring to the bottom of the frame, front and back or some reference point to help me make a decision so I may plan the stance I want my van to have. I have a 61 econo van, 14" rims and also considering adding a 2" drop axle to the front. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Re: Leaf spring replacement
I would call them and ask to get them dearched from stock. I know mine have naturally dearched from 50 yrs of use and new springs would definitely raise the van some.

I bought new Eaton Springs for my front leafs, they have the factory blueprints and will drop the springs the amount you ask for. i am happy with them, i think i paid around $350 for the pair of fronts ready to bolt on.
