I checked in there last night, due to my recent interest in rescuing a local Fargo here, and was accepted. I saw the post, Tim. I bet I just happened to go there at the right time, and maybe life got in Terry's way. I'm sure the door will open for you enbro. I don't know my way around the group yet, but I'm sure there is a wealth of info in there. And yeah... I'm glad you're back... don't stay away so long next time!

In an odd twist of fate, here's terry's reply from my post at the A100 site.

    >>>>Tim,
I went on the Vintage Vans site right away to see what I could do to
help this guy out. I TRIED to post the following:

    Hey buddy(ENBRO),
I don't recall your specific application (we get at least 5 per week)
but if you don't have your city and state posted on your Yahoo Groups
profile page correctly it wont be displayed on your request to join
up. If it doesn't get filled in/posted in 7 days the application is
    automatically denied.
    Sorry.
Please try again but remember to post your City and State on the
    LOCATION line.
If you still have a problem e/mail me at 'dadbogusz@aol.com'
    Ter'
PS: Believe me that after 8 years of success with this site I/We have
never turned down anybody if they are:
    1. Truthful in their Personal Information.
    2. Not bringing some inapropriate adult content in with them.
    3. On board to share and be shared with. EX: Just coming in to unload
some stuff then disappear is a no-no!........
In ALL our memberships listed there is only ONE person who was
allowed to join without the LOCATION info left blank and that young
man was only 12 at the time.

...but I am locked out even after logging in?
    I tried.......

I wish they'd sort out whatever problems they're having, if they're even aware of them since it appears that nothing seems to be getting through. I'd love to be able to sign up there too but I was denied as well. Sounds like they have a lot of great info to share.

Hey guys...hey Sask. Nice A100 man! Get it! It's an automatic too!

I'd love to have one of those bench seats, maybe we could work something out.

I've got lots of parts, I bought a parts van near Toronto and stripped a lot from it, still have to go back for the shell which includes the motor, tranny, rear end, etc.

The yahoo group may be a good resource, but so is this!

I did eventually manage to join, but then I remembered why I hate Yahoo and their pyramid style text discussions. A flat style board like this is so so SOOOO much better. I haven't been back and don't really plan on it either.

I bought a new fuel sending unit from "vansautollc" on ebay for $50. It's brand new stainless steel and really nice. Came with a new retainer ring too.

I also bought a proper retainer ring tool from someone for $12.

Man, that's a hell of a good deal if it works properly. I paid more than twice your $62.00 and I didn't even get the tool. I'm surprised they didn't give you a plastic float.
