I have often wondered when folks paint their engine the same color as the vehicle, if they use high-temp engine paint that matches, or they paint the engine with the same paint they used on the body. If that, then was a high-temp primer used?

I used Ford Blue Dupli-Color engine enamel on my engine which seems to be the same color as his. Unless my eyes deceive, there may be a slight difference between the body color and engine in the photo above.

Nice job, troubledz! I wish mine was still that clean!  Smile

Is is rebuild or just a Tijuana tune-up?

Looks great. Painting the engine the same color as the body is a nice idea.
