Rescue from a farmer Empty Rescue from a farmer

Im new to this forum need some help identifying this rescue. The van has (108) on the side I believe that stands for 108" wheel base? She is a 1964 correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's a second gen. Just couldn't see another piece of Americana go to waste. I will become my daily driver and shop truck. I've always had a love for vans so this should be fun!

the letter before the P in the VIN number should be the year,,,,,,108 wheelbases were from 1967-70,,,,,,side markers on the front doors were from 68-70,,,,,,,,67 has no side markers on the front doors,,,,,67's also had the sorrowfull 16 gallon gas tank,,,,,,,see what you got,,,,,

What engine? with the six 16 Gals. tank will take you plenty far between fill ups. But most 108's from 67 I've seen have the 307 V8 engine with a 3-speed manual or automatic. Nice project if it can be saved....do the usual with any old car from a field, look it over carefully for rust issues...67's have some one year only parts like trim and some of the mechanicals but if its complete you shouldn't need much and if you run a speed shop, you should have no problem restoring it! BTW, standard WB was 90" so you gain 18" in cargo room! LOL but they ride great.
