My surgery was scheduled to be on May 18 but since I had that heart attack a couple of weeks ago it has been postponed till I can get clearance from cardiology and the anesthetist. They will remove about two inches of bone from my left shoulder and repair the rotator cuff then when it is healed they will do the same to the right shoulder.

Re: Surgery postponed
I go to a veterans hospital so everything is free since I have a 100% disability rating. Good thing too considering the cost of hospital stays, surgeries and meds. If you are a vet a with 100% rating You are also exempt from paying property taxes and registration on your vehicles and no federal or state income taxes. Plus I can fly anywhere in the world for free on a military jet and stay as long as I want for free on a military base. So there are some perks associated with getting wounded and disabled. Plus I get over $4000.00 a month in disability payments and the payments go up every year regardless of the economy. Uncle Sam takes care of its disabled vets. The hospital I go to is rated number one in the country. Almost forgot my wife gets all of her meds and hospital stays for free too and my kids got free tuition to any university of their choice. For these reasons I always strongly support any car show where the proceeds go to the veterans hospital here. last year we raised $395,000.00 at a one day show and it all went to the hospital to help take care of our disabled and homeless vets. I urge you all to thank a vet whenever you meet one for he put his life on the line for us all.Nightmoves wrote:Man,you can't get a break, canyou?
