Hey guys, made a mistake on the Vin # on the frame, it should read 186-G35971. I do hope
someone can break this down for me. I'm trying to figure out the year?????? The original plate by
the drivers seat has been lost. Help

was these numbers taken from the frame on the passengers side ??
near the front shock mount
is the master cylinder under the drivers seat single or a duel fluid boul ?

6 = 6 cylinder your next letter g may be a 6
6 = built in winsor truck plant

Yes that is where the #'s come from. Could read 186-035971 or 186-C35971 and the master cylinder was a single bowl.

the master cylinder dates it as 67 or older can you tell if the wheel well had one plate or two
from the rivet holes 1 plate had 2 and the older ones with 2 plates would have has 3 holes
