    I just scored 30 square feet of fatmat to go under my flooring. Should I lay it in strips or just cover the whole floor. I'm going to do plywood on top of it with hardwood flooring on that. Any suggestions appreciated!

    If it were me, I would lay it strips to make it stretch. That should still be plenty enough product to keep the noise Down.

    Did you install in your van? How was the result? Did you use any other layering of materials?

    I'm looking to add insulation to my panel van and still collecting info to decide how I want to do it.

    Just did lizard skin on my doghouse.....perfect! And cleans up with soap and water study

    I did strips across the floor. Works surprisingly well.
    Next step is insulation/underpayment.
    I'm torn between 1/2" foam or doubled up 2mm underpayment. Any suggestions welcome!
    Than 1/4" plywood
    Topped with 1/2" engineered oak hardwood flooring.
    I want my van to be 4 seasons. So I plan on insulating the walls with r13 roll insulation too. Hope that helps. You can see some pictures here:
