Post by dougtappan Wed Sep 02, 2015 6:54 pm

I am thinking the only differance body wise between a 1st and 2nd gen body is the relocation of the headlights. That being said I want to make my van a no door.( If I have to explain you would'nt understand.) Soooo.... If my premis is true I am looking to see if someone would be willing to cut me a pannel big enough to install in the section of the doors. Biggest catch, it has to be on the eastern side of the Mississippi so I can jump in my pickup and pick it up.

I heard that's the way to go, cut out the drivers side panel with the posts from a donor van and flip it around to match the door side...there are parts vans around if you start digging, most are in southwest like OK, Texas, AZ and Cali though....I know you have you reasons, but a no-door is really a PITA when it comes to accessing rear, I use my van for all kinds of hauling and it would be useless without side doors, JMHO...
