Re: Vans with retro trailer!
Thank you!
The camper is only 470lb, and easy to set up. We were ready to get off the ground with regular tents, but did not want a full on camper.
I need to treat the canvas, it is in very good shape but was in storage since 83. I have the orig hubcaps but they do not stay on well so I took them off, I would hate to lose them.

Re: Vans with retro trailer!
Abitibi, it is a mildly restored original 1962 Shasta Airflyte. We thought about the repro ones but found this original. Still have to have my buddy finish checking it out but may be ours early next week!

Re: Vans with retro trailer!
That's awesome! I love the interior on those. I came really close to buy a '57 but found a new van instead

Re: Vans with retro trailer!
Wow, some nice combo's here! I bet you all get a lot of comments when travelling.
I just got back from a 700 mile back road trip to Maine with the Dodge combo. Van did well, was a great trip, but I was ready to get out of that thing when we were home!
Pic of aluminum bike rack I made for camper, works great and easy to remove. I had to straddle the camper since it has a soft top.
