so, needing a new engine. I built what im thinking will be an adequate power plant. I started with a 77 dodge aspen 318. line honed . blue printed the block along with a "0" deck.bored it 40 over, used KB flat top pistons. a 68 340HP cam. a cloyes true roller timing kit,re sized stock rods with ARP bolts re used the stock crank. I found a set of casting number "302" heads that I milled 0.020. and a vintage offenhauser 4 BBL intake with an edelbrock 1406 carb.and bought some "headman" long tube headers P N 79030 (for us A guys these just plain fit) desk top dyno shows 350 HP and 375TQ with this combo. soon to drop it in my 68 A-108 and see. I just thought id share

That should get your 108 up and moving. sounds like a strong motor.
