Trying to figure out if I'll have an issue with the spring shackle below the body.a picture in the manual shows the spring connected on top of the shackle not the bottom. Will this cause a problem.?thhanks

I believe if it's reversed it makes your pinion angle out of whack if nothing else is changed..

Yes, the spring should be over the shackle mount (up).
This is incorrect:
IIRC the pinion angle can only be 6 degrees, if its more than that you will blow the rear u-joint. If you want to flip the shackles then you can use angled shims on the rear axle spring perches to get the pinion angle back into tolerance.
Any decent off road shop can handle the setup for you if you want to change it.
