Re: rear seat brackets
VH, The brackets are a fairly simple design. Get some 2" square stock and make your own..

Re: rear seat brackets
I have a rear seat in my panel (add on),but the clamps look something close to a conduit hanger doubled.

Re: rear seat brackets
A carriage bolt works in the A seat brackets up through a piece of 1/4" flat stock and one end of your conduit clamp. The other end of the clamp is bolted the the flat stock and drilled through the floor and threaded into the frame rail. I got all my hardware from a '91 ram van.

Re: rear seat brackets
Its a stamped/formed bracket. But looks simple.1/8x 2 flatbar welded to a piece of black pipe a lil larger than O.D.(cut in half) of seat frame rail, cut 2" long
could be 1 1/2,I didn't measure.

Re: rear seat brackets
VH, Digz was referring to the flat piece of metal welded to the floor under the dipstick....

Re: rear seat brackets
VH,
Fred carello had a set of Ford seat frames. They would work perfect for you and beleive they are what your looking for. Not sure if he still has them be you might want to send him a PM "FMC56".

Re: rear seat brackets
I found some brackets in the junkyard that worked fine in my blue Sportvan. They were out of a newer van. As I wander thru a junkyard, I look inside the back of most of the vans. You never know what you'll find! Sometimes you see good ideas used by van conversion companies or regular folks like us.
I found a set of clamps that worked perfectly on my Sportvan seat! I think they were used to mount a bench that folded into a bed. They weren't an exact match to the stock Sportvan brackets but I was able to use carriage bolts facing upwards thru the Sportvan seat mounts and wingnuts to hold them down. Nice and easy to remove. These clamps had the basic coating like bolts have (nickel?).
Not sure if I took any photos, I'll check. Also, there's a nice picture of the stock ones in the Sportvan glovebox manual.
