vintage chevy van club Empty Login and such

Post by VCVCSmiley Tue Mar 24, 2015 8:55 am

I'd heard from a couple members that they were having login issues. Most didn't experience them.

I did a full update of the site this morning (usually I do them late at night). If you were having trouble over the past couple days, that should be resolved.

Doug, Amie told me that she received your dues this morning. We're happy to have you with us. Lemme know if there's still an issue logging in, although it should be smooth now. We'll have your membership package in the mail this week.

    Happy Steve McQueen Day!

Hey Smilly, I cannot get past the random question question. I have tryed every possible combination of chevy van related answers and it keeps telling me I givin the wrong answer.I'm starting to get really........stressed.The only reason I joined VCVC was to see if macsdoghouse has the bushings for my 67 shifter linkage. It would be awesome if you could pass along to Amie how.......frustrated I am.

Don't stress! We had to implement a "random question" since we get nearly 100 spam registration requests a day. The answer to the question is "van" or "vans".

I'll have Amie bump your money back to you. Our club certainly does not expect anyone to join to access information. Our club was started to share information. Our club's forums have always been free to anyone. That will never change. The forums are only one facet of our club.

I'll call Mac in a few to see what he has. PM me with a way to contact you in reply.

I haven't been able to get on VCVC lately. When I use my old bookmark, it says:
closed...please visit our regular site: vcvc.org.

When I go there, the forums are empty.

    Anyone know what's going on?
