I've been working on her for a couple months and I'm close, but after getting her running I realized the radiator has leaks all over the place.  Does anyone have any sources for a reasonably priced radiator?

I found this one, but it only lists up to '66 Sad

    Thanks for any advise,

Those would be great if I had a Chevy! Unfortunately I've got a Ford.

Thanks for the quick reply though!

Welcome to VV. Take your old rad into your local rad shop and ask them to put your top and bottom tanks and side brackets on a new 3 core. It may run you $300 to $375. It will bolt back in just like the original did and look like factory.Newb here with a '67 Supervan in need of a radiator. Copy_o11

That's a good idea, unfortunately my top tank is split in a couple places. I wonder if they could solder the cracks...hmmm...

It wouldn't hurt to ask. I thought mine were iffy...but the rad guy said they were in great shape. They even moved the top hose inlet to the other side for me as well. But I would certainly start there first.

I just called Sims Radiator in Atlanta (45 minutes away) and they said, "No problem, bring it in." I'll give them a shot.

    Thanks!!!

I think it depends on the motor. Your's being a Super Van has the 240 and bigger radiator.

My van is a 66 that had the 240 in it as well. The rad is a little bit taller. My 67 on the other hand had a 170 with the smaller rad and 9 inch rear with 4:11 gears. If you have the taller rad I would go with that size for the recore. Mine is a 3 core insert and cools a 350 V8. Having the taller rad means you have that much more rad hanging lower catching a bit more air. If you choose to run a belly pan, make sure it's from a van that had the taller rad so it will bolt up properly, and be deeper to catch the bottom of the radiator.

Thanks for all the help ya'll!

This one is the shorter one, but I suspect it'll still cool a lot better than my old original "taller" one.

I just ordered the 6065LP radiator from Champion. 4" shorter than my 240 rad, but should be adequate. I'm going to use a 3000 CFM 16" electric fan on a 185 degree F thermo switch and put the mechanical fan in a box.

I bought one for a 65 mustang. It's 3 core for 150 bucks from orilieys then had the radiator shop flip the brackets for 75 bucks drilled some holes. Never hit again

Early Mustang V-8, Falcon or Comet 3 or 4 row. Side mounting bracket are reversed for Econoline mounting to front of support, or use 2" spacers.

The 4" shorter radiator is a for a 170, bigger is always better. The Taller rad barely worked on my 240. Good luck.

240 radiator is ALWAYS the taller of the two. 170 is always the shorter in height,,, with only the two sizes in ours. Here I get the 240 three core bumped up to a 4 core for about $350. Tanks and straps no longer available so keep them for parts later on.
