cargo and rear door seals/weather stripping? Empty cargo and rear door seals/weather stripping?

Post by steelrat Tue Mar 03, 2015 10:11 am

For the rear door seals do I need the seals that go on the doors and also some seals that go on the body around the door frame? If so do I need the same for the cargo doors? Where do I get those?
    Thanks

The side and rear doors are interchangeable. Seal goes on the door only.

In vintage-vans "Search" -"Topics"; type in "door weatherstrip" and pick "go"; -your answers will be in there.

Carpenters cargo seals seemed to work well,, only needing a little mod on the bottoms of them. The front seals are JUNK.

I just put a set of seals from Carpenters on my side cargo doors...they do need to be trimmed. The top is fine, but on the bottom they are too wide and too long. Can't figure that out. I just cut them and glued them down like that.

Here's a pic of how long they were...about the same amount too wide.
