I just went out and kicked my van in the rusted out rocker panel. Might be better if I don't look at this thread anymore lol.

Hey Magic, my 65 has holes too, Other people on this site know I spent 3.5 years looking for a rust free van, the model I wanted and then paid whatever to own it and get it home. A van body like this dosn't come easy or cheep. all you need is the vision, the determination, and rob a bank or two, you too could have one.

I'm going to either have the van of my dreams or go to jail trying!!

I did a 15 hour, hard labour shift on Sat, roughed in the bondo and got a first coat of high build onto it. Sunday I worked the bondo lines a little and laid on two more coats of high build.









now the hard work starts, "Blocking"

Funny how the two different angles make it look like different colors. Is it butter yellow or lemon yellow??? Whichever one it is, it looks Fantastic!!! At-A-Boy M1! You done Great!

moving along, had to remove the new tires to repaint the wheels,(painted a year ago they where the wrong color)







working on the doors now, they are alot of work! I am suprized how much work it to clean up strip and paint the doors both sides. I sure am glad I don't have to deal with rust, and a daughter willing to work.
