I have the same idea , but going to use monstaliner. About the same as line x but can be bought and sprayed(or brushed)with a $40 gun. The stuff about $50 a quart

Planning to use Lizard Skin ceramic coating on mine (also not cheap). I believe Vanishing Breed had used this product and I was turned onto it by Space Truckin who said his box stays cool to the touch.

Hey before you buy that lizard skin do some internet search, there are guys that have figured out whats in it and can be made for a quarter of the price
