It is possible someone removed the hump. Most people go the other way around and add the hump and newer doghouse to a pre-1965 Econoline.
Is the heater under the dash, off the floor, with the controls on the dash?
Are all four bolts on the front of the front bumper, or are two of the bolts on top of the bumper?
Is the choke handle in the center of the front of the doghouse, or closer to the driver?
Two latches holding down the doghouse lid or one?
Is the shelf between the dash and the steering column triangular or sort-of rectangular? and which direction do the bolts holding it to the steering column point?
licence plate on teh left door or in the center of the bumper.
Many of these things can be swapped out between early and later Econolines, but might give you more proof of year.
