Post by FIZGIG Wed Dec 03, 2014 5:18 am

So I have a 250 cu in motor in my 1961 Economy PU and it has an aluminum radiator my question is does anyone have molded radiator Hoses or is everyone using flexible hoses? Let me know what works best for you.

I used molded, but I have a 289, so I think the choices are wider.

Hoses for a 69-70 250 mustang work perfectly. I had to trim a bit off the end of one but otherwise it's like they were made for it. the 240 Econo hoses may be the same but I'm not sure about that. You need to get up to Anacortes btw Wink Smile

Edit: I wanted to add, it probably depends on whether you have a the long 240 radiator or the regular size one. Mine is the regular size, mustang radiator.
