Baker's 2015

The White Lake weather service shows a prediction of 76 degrees and partly cloudy skies for this area for Sunday, June 28th.
Milford Road at I-96 is under construction. Last time I checked it was all open but slower because of the construction.
Here is the schedule of eVANts for the show:
10:00 - 11:00am...Registration
10:00 - 2:30pm...Meet and greet your fellow vanners. Fill out your voting ballots.
2:30...All completed ballots MUST be turned in in order to be counted.
3:30...Raffle prizes and 50/50 winners announced.
4:30...Van Awards presented.
All day...Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be sold.
Rain or shine we are ON! See you all next Sunday.

You had such a great turnout last year Im bumping this up to the top. How about hotel recommendations and local favorite restaurants?

There are hotels scattered about but not that close. It would be best to do a Google search for the area. There is a campground (Camp Dearborn) very close which I know vanners have camped in in the past. As far as restaurants I have to recommend Baker's since they let us host our event there, but there are numerous other restaurants, and fast food joints. But if you are an early arrival and don't want a full breakfast, the party store on the premises has great breakfast pizza! See you all in a couple days!

Bakers-day. If you coming wear a yellow Jeggs hat(guess Chris gave 1000s away at Bakers) or anything yellow. Seems like ever time I have seen Chris he was wearring one

Didn't take any pics but hopefully someone did and will post them. We had a great turn out! 55 registered and we had a few late arrivals who didn't register. Lots of cool vans, great weather, and a winner of $109 in the 50/50 raffle. I gave away lots of raffle prizes and handed out goody bags, each with over 100 items in them. Thanks to Joe and Bonnie Madonia who came from Florida to sell van stuff and print shirts on-site. Joe and Bonnie also designed the dash plaque for this years' show. I have extras if anyone want to buy one ($3 each). Thanks to Steve Cinnamon for his help and for bringing a generator for Joe and Bonnie. Thanks to all who donated money or gifts for the show, especially Savage and Steve. Thanks to all who attended - we had beautiful weather. And thanks to G-Man who started the whole Baker's show 11 years ago. We all miss him and I still reserve his usual parking spot with some G-Man memorabilia. Thanks again everyone! See you June 26, 2016, for the next Baker's Gathering of the Early's.

Awesome weather for an awesome show Sunday. The campgrounds right up the street were awesome too. Thx Billski and friends for all your hard work. We all appreciate it and Chris would be very proud.
