Thanks Twin! My van just has a rectangular opening for access to the wiring and two screw holes where the dome light would be. Am I missing a mounting bracket for these dome lenses too?

you can buy the same light complete from brothers, lmc and classicparts
they are the same ones used in 67/72 chevy trucks and they also
sell a chromed based that uses the same lenz and they are not expensive.

Here you can see the dome light with the white plastic base that surrounds it, same front and rear. Bone Yards, eBay or new repro, lots out there.... I actually found some with NOS lens at a swap meet....The plastic base has slots in it for a pair of metal bulb holder clips like a fuse holder and it uses a bayonet lamp type bulb like this:

Re: Original Interior Cab Dome Light?
Bought and installed the repo dome lights from Brothers, work and look great. However, my roof support brackets are bent right where the dome lamps are supposed to attach. This seems to be a fairly common occurrence. Does anyone here have any remedies for straightening the roof supports out?
