Re: AGE =Related = Problems??
Another 60 here! so the median age seems to be right around 58-60, well who else would have driven these things back in the day and want to relive their youth and drive one now?? Only a few younger crowd is into them. Just like muscle cars are in now....my theory is that interest old vehicle types evolves as time moves forward....at a car show 20-30 years ago, all you saw where lots of pre-warII Model A's and 50's lead sleds...now all you see are 60's muscle cars, the generation that was into A's and Sleds is mostly gone or too old to drive, in 10-20-30 years it will be all hot rodded tuners, like" hey man, dig that Acura Integra!, I remember those...." vans and muscle cars will be in museums and garages forgotten by most.....enjoy life (and your cars) while you are here!

Re: AGE =Related = Problems??
The true measure of your age is, if you didn't know how old you were, how old would you think you were? My mind says 18, my body says 80.

64 and still rackin' up the miles, just not as fast. Yes I was a teenager when these vans were new. Nice to see the youngsters appreciate the earlys. I wonder how many were seeded in an early? I know I had some fun there.

Chebby does a superb job of keeping us guys in line!!! Are there any other women on this site? Surely, there must be some women out there who love these vans as much as the guys do??

Re: AGE =Related = Problems??
hmmmmm.... Why don't you start a new thread Vanny? Take a "female role call" so to speak (I'll pipe in).... personally, I'd like to know there are others out there, like myself, who sit when they pee by nature, and love these Earlys also
p.s. rest easy my brothers... not looking to recruit to wage a battle between the sexes as far a I am concerned, we are all created equal when it comes to our admiration of an old van... my bigger concern is....
some of us are more adapt at a BBQ, some of us are superior in a kitchen,,,, and then there are those of us who are masters of the "tail-gate"
the question is,,, which are you?
OR are you the serious consumer of the above mentioned culinary talents?
THIS is a non-gender subject that can be appreciated by everyone who has working taste buds (I must be hungry)
