Re: Whats happened to GMAN's=van?
468 BBC 350TH completely redone
I have re done a few of the fouled up bodywork spots. Roll pan, window patch and 1 rocker and a couple others. I am debating on what else to change or redo. I have decided to eliminate the air bag system as it is to small of a set up. The gull wing needs to be totally redone and I probably will get rid of the problematic suicide hinges. It has taken a side line as I have started on another project while contemplating which road to take it on.
Chris and I talked a bit on this one. He had a vision but the body guy couldn't deliver. It agonized me to change stuff but he told me to make it my own. It is not a project you just jump in and finish. A lot has been changed since Chris first got it and it is very hard to bring some of those changes back. I know it doesn't look like it but there is enough coin into this one already to have done 2 of my Orange Peelers. It took me 2 years to get my first project on the road, This one is a whole other step or 2 beyond that.
