In general how much lift is needed in the back to clear 10 inch wide tires? I was thinking 3 to 3.5 inches total 2 inch block with 1.5 inch shackel

Re: rear lift needed to clear 10s
I think a 2 inch block would be plenty..Jack up the rear of the van from the frame or bumper 2 inches and see how much the tires clear the wheel well 2 inches is a lot... 10 inch rims will stick out past the wheel wells about 2-3 inches.... I put a 3 inch add a leaf in my 91 Chevy van and It raised the rear bumper 4 inches so a 3 1/2 inch lift I think it would be way to much my rear springs are stock with 10 inch rims but I know the wheel wells are shaped different on your van...JMO..... Those are 6 ply 31/10-50/15s on the rear on 10 inch wide rims with a 3 inch lift kit without the flairs I have 4 inches above the tires to wheel well opening,!!!..
