Re: 1961 ford falcon panel van
No such thing as a 61 Falcon panel van. Falcons had windows, werent panel vans and no Falcons til 62,just sayin. Basically as a start point figure a complete van is about $400 in scrap on the scale. Go up from there depending on all the good stuff it has to offer and what you actually need off it. Someone who needs a lot off of it may pay more than you. 9" rear a plus, sway bar, crossmember, front and rear seats, outside and inner trim, etc. I'll pay good money for the right stuff in good condition that's hard to come by.

You are right it's a 62 but has Falcon emblems on both doors and is a panel van. I can send pics. Any other way to tell if it's a falcon if they replaced both doors?

I think the doors were swapped come to think of it. When I picked it it was with a widow van that had one Econoline door on it. So makes sense.

Check for the VIN on the driver door tag or on the frame near the driver door hinges.
You should also see the VIN on the cross brace behind the right or left tail light. The spare tire might be hiding it.
The other place to look is remove the doghouse, and the VIN is stamped in the floor under the doghouse lip.
With swapped doors, you might have multiple VINs.

All Falcon vans had windows so doors must be swapped. Going purely from memory Falcons were E12 and E13 on the VIN tag, maybe E11 or E14 too , can't recall and I'm at work so no way to check now.
