Another donation today puts us at $300!!! Great job everyone and keep 'em coming. I will see Chris' wife next week and present her with what I have up to that point. Then we'll have more from the Baker's Show raffles and auctions.

I'm with you JV. I was Really hoping we could get some Major $$ to help with Chris Med bills. I have been posting info over on VCVC, but seems like nobody remembers Chris.

Good to hear it's moving in the right direction...My grandson's name starts with G and I call him little G-Man. This way I feel like Chris' presence is still around!  Very Happy

Guys don't jump the gun and freak out too early about donations, Baker's hasn't happened yet. I will be doing my part at Baker's, not contributing thru the site. I'm sure others will as well.

Tim, Not sure what point your trying to get across? I know Chris was your Friend & you miss Him, like we all do ,just trying to keep G-man memory alive & try to help out his Family. I don't think most of the 2700++ people here or at VCVC will be at Bakers(sure they would if they could) Those are the people I'm trying to get to Donate.

    Miss you Chris

I have a few more donations and a couple more (hopefully) in the works. I will post a total by the end of the week. I am hoping to meet with Teresa, Chris' wife, this weekend to present her with the donations and to go over everything Chris had going for the Baker's show. And Tim, I look forward to seeing you and many others at Baker's. I KNOW we will have another nice donation for the family as a result of the Baker's show between our raffle, 50/50, auctions, dash plaques, and (also hopefully) a donation from Baker's. Thanks everyone for their efforts, donations, and well wishes to Chris' family. Billski

With the latest donations from DT and BC our total is up to $559 and I am expecting $100 from yet another donation. If/when that comes through we'll be at $659.00! I am very excited about all of the donations. I am meeting with Teresa, Chris' widow, tomorrow and will present her with the $559 in cash and checks. Thanks everyone and keep those donations coming.

He was a generous guy. He put a lot of time into all of those awards for Baker's, including those with the van emblems.

I would like to go ahead and up the G-man fund ante with a proposal. If someone on here buys my new Econoline lowering kit before the Baker's show I will donate $50 towards the G-man fund. The kit goes for $220 shipped. I would also donate $25 if someone buys a set of my Econoline front door seals before Baker's. They sell for $120 shipped. Buy the parts you need and help support a very worthy cause.

I met with Teresa yesterday and gave her a sympathy card with cash and checks for a total of $600. I signed it from "Your friends at Vintage-Vans.com and VCVC.org". She didn't open it while I was there but I'm sure she was pleasantly surprised when she did open it. I am still waiting for the $100 donation to come in and any others that may still be in the works. Thanks again everyone for any donations past, and yet to come. Billski

I keep posting over on VCVC,but don't think I'm getting anywhere with them. Seems like they forgot Chris already. I though some of them would have met him (how could you forget Chris Big smily & Laugh)at all the Nats he went to over the years??  I'm sure some of them have donated , nobody is posting anything  about it over there Sad

As I had mentioned a while back I was going to have 100 memorial dash plaques done up. I'll be getting them this weekend at Vanfest. These will be a donation, nothing held back for cost. All the money going towards the donation to G-Man's family. The dash plaque will be metal with this image on it. They will cost $4 u.s. If there are any leftover we'll arrange with someone to mail some out with the additional postage charge. At this point I'm not sure if I can make Bakers but I will be seeing a number of vanners this weekend who will be there and I'll send them with them to be on the safe side.
