I drove my van in the local town parade with placards thanking Veterans on the sides I made at work on a large format printer!  I heard many people reading the words aloud as I passed by!  Take a look...

I plan on registering and driving with the same signs, maybe larger in the New York City Veterans Day parade this November right up 5th Ave. in Manhattan, how cool will that be plus the vets appreciate it as well.

As a military veteran I was often puzzled and confused on how to respond when someone would thank me for "My Service". Sometimes I would stumble trough a "you're welcome" or just nod, but the more I thought about it...I thought the way I wanted to answer is, "It was My Pleasure".

Because that is what it was to me. My 22+ years with the Air Force serving the country I love were the Highlight of my accomplishments and no matter what other goals I reach or don't reach in life, I will always have that.

It's always meant a lot to me to see people posting signs and being thankful to those who served and especially to those who gave their lives. Unfortunately so many people are running around in our country today that don't care or are mindless to what is involved with having Freedoms that we do.

I say all this to let you know that your thanks is heard and I join you in thanking those who served in the past, who are serving now and will be serving in the future!
