    hey there working on a 68 chev van g 10 and i have no clue how to put the carb linkage back together i have all the pat but it was 0 years ago that i took it apart if anyone has a good picture f how its supposed to be assembled that would be a great help

    Hi, do you have a shop manual? or find one, there is always a diagram showing that set-up, is it the same as a '64-66 first gen and do you have a 6 or 8? if its a 6, its in the supplement edition, I could scan it later for ya....pictures are always a help, Donivan??

    well if it is a 6, a rod goes from the gas pedal to a bellcrank on the doghouse,,,another rod goes from there to a bellcrank on the intake manifold,,another rod goes from there up to the carb,,,,,as I sit in my motorhome, on my laptop, at a truckstop, in Winslow, Arizona.....

    hey sorry it was early and i couldnt sleep cause i was thinking abotu getting this thing back together it is a straight 6 250 i would love a picture where would you get a shop manual from i have a chev van haynes manual and its pretty sparce when it comes to information and pictures

    Right click, save, open in whatever photo viewer you have, and zoom in. Pixelates a bit, but you can get the gist of what's going on.

    yeah i tried that i would really like if i could get an actual picture under the air cleaner every picture ive seen so far blocks the linkage
