    Donor Vehicle Empty Donor Vehicle

Post by SamHite Sun Apr 27, 2014 6:10 pm

I know folks used to use Mavericks for donor vehicles for brakes & steering, but those are hard to find now. Other than the mustang is there any other vehicles that are suitable? I was thinking about using a v6 automatic (not 3.Cool with the disc brakes, A/C, ECM & all. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I contemplated using an Ecoboost doner at one point. I still think about it from time to time, but I would want the 250+ hp 4 cylinder, not the V6, and RWD versions are just now becoming available so it will be some time before they are easily salvaged.
