Where did you source the IFS unit?

X2 on the details in all your plumbing.

What are you going to put in for Engine/Trans?

Its an Art Morrison IFS, called it a Bikini Clip. [They make some really nice stuff.]

Not sure where I'm putting the engine/trans yet. Might put a bench seat up front with the motor just behind it.

    THANKS!

Shaped / Installed rear Tubs and sunken dual battery boxes.  Now to figure out the back access hatch.

I have very little exposure to bodywork, so what are those bronzy-metal posts called and what do they do?  I know I'm going to need them at some point, they look much easier than a pair of vice grips.

Thanks Guys!   Its slow progress... but progress.

Wirepuller,  dude! your build thread is pretty sick!  You are doing some awesome work.

The copper post things are called "Cleco Pins" (or Cleco Fasteners).  Very cool tool, comes in at least two sizes, inside the cleco pin is a spring that retracts.  Basically you drill a pilot hole, put a cleco pin into the plier like tool that comes with the pins, squeeze the handles to extend the pin, stuff it through the pilot hole and release.   spring retracts holding the two metal pieces nice and snug.  Later, you can go back and weld up all the little 1/8"  pilot holes.

Someone else turned me onto Cleco's and I absolutely love them.

Cool, thanks for the name and quick tutorial, sounds way easier than trying to line up and hold with C-Clamps!! And thanks for the compliment, I've been drawing alot of inspiration from builds, like yours, that are further along. They are too much fun to work on!
