Got the "Prevailing torque" lock nuts installed OK. Seem to work, although I'll have to check the tightness after a week of driving.

I also put in plastic shims on the passenger side... and I hit on a new way to reduce leaf spring squeaks, for those with leaf springs with no holes to hold the spacers such as in the eBay listing that Donny posted. I simple put a nylon ziptie around the lowest leaf. So far, after a commute to work and back, these zipties are still in place. It may be a quick and dirty way to reduce noisy springs... if you can fit the zip tie in there. For the upper two leaves, there's always contact between them, so they seem to hold a thin plastic shim in there well enough.
