I've hardly been by the site since taking a new job back in October, gotta a lot of reading to do. Thought I share a couple of items I picked up the last several months.
    First, a clifford downdraft intake.

Second, an extra set of wheels.

Came across these on craigs list, didn't know what they were but liked the look of them, discovered later they are some what rare. These are wheels used on the 1971 Indy 500 pace care that crashed. The only other set I've come across is on ebay for almost $2k!

And last but really my favorite,

My wife had this picture commissioned for a Christmas gift to me. She took pictures of my van to a local artist who did this.
Looking forward to a new vanning season here in Michigan. ~ Tim

Thanks. I was very surprised. I l'll try to keep up with the site, but can't get to it at work so I'm limited to evenings when the computer isn't being used by my kids for school work.

some rare parts finds, and I use the word rare very little, but you got some interesting pieces there. I am not sure on this but I think those wheels are "Kelsey hayes" units. might be your retirement package to the right person...

Welcome back. I love the art work. That would be perfect hanging on the wall in my den. Would the artist be willing to do some prints?

You need to hook up with Vanfool (Jason Thompson). He's from Paw Paw and really big into vans. Been buying and selling a bunch.

jkr ~ the wheels were made by Motor Wheel which was purchased by Kelsey Hayes, I think some time later in the 70's. The pace car has been restored and is in the rpmcollection. here's a link to their gallery. http://www.rpmcollection.com/our-photos/

scarlin ~ let me know when you are thinking of going, I'll check my calendar. I'm always up for a trip to Kazoo.

econopoor ~ I'll check to see if he does prints, mine is the orginal. I've never talked with the artist, this was totally my wife's doing.

wideload ~ I'll check in with Vanfool, & try to work a stop by him next time I go see my parents.
