    I did a thread search but was not able to find the info i was hoping to. So where do you install the fusible links on the a100 with 318 and auto trans and what amperage should they be.

    ,,,the law is,,,,,,use a fusible link rated 4  gauges higher than the wire it has to protect,,,,,and you might as well update some of that old undersized original wiring that is on a van,,,,,you need to protect any wire that hooks up to the end of the positive battery cable,,,,usually at the starter, solenoid or relay,,,,,,,you should be running a nice 10 gauge wire from the alternator output  to the positive battery cable as well as a 10 gauge wire from there all the way up to the fusebox and ignition switch to upgrade your wiring ,,,,
