A100 radiators...

What are the options? I have a 1969 A100 shorty. Has a 318 from a charger. 727 automatic. I will post pics when I get to my computer, but I'm told it is discontinued and I have to find one used or have one built. What should I expect to pay? What is the best choice? Any modifications that are worth making? I know some of you have some good input.

you can call these guys, They know what to do they have been making a lot of them for our members, but it cost about $ 450.00 from what i've heard

I could not find it on E-Bay,How did it fit? Price?

We installed a 318 in ours and the fit was fine. I think we paid around $200 here is the phone # 714-974-5222 give them a call. Cools great, by the way!

I'm sure most will agree, go with an aluminum radiator if you can swing it. It will be one of the best things you can do to completely eliminate cooling issues. My experience with re-cores has not been good in the past, especially the soldering of the tanks splitting and brackets breaking loose. Granted, if you can find a shop that knows how to solder for longevity/strength, you might not have any issues. And even when all is good though, the aluminum rad cools much better.

Exactly! We found then had an original v-8 rad, recored, etc. had well over $300 invested. Decided to go the NEW route, when the rad shop claimed they wouldn't guarantee it after doing the work???

I used an aluminum piece from Speedway Motors- have the post on here, let me see if I can grab the part#. It also was like $250. The fit is excellent.

So, after reading through other forum posts, and taking a lot into consideration, I bought one for $500 from FSR. It is shiny, beautiful and makes me want to clean my whole van top to bottom to match! I need to get new hoses, and just found out FSR may have overflow tanks as well....They are pretty helpful, and I would highly recommend calling them if you are looking to get a radiator for your A100/A108.

Bringing this back to life....
For those that used the champion radiator for the 32 fords, what was the best way to fabricate a mounting beacket for the radiator? And have any other options popped up? Will champion let you order that radiator with the dodge mounting brackets?
I wish I had the budget for the fsr, but saving that couple hundred bucks is real important to me...

Before I pull the trigger, does anyone see any problems with this setup? Champion cc5100 for 47-54 Chevy truck, 26x23 almost the exact same as ours!!!! And side brackets to boot!
