"The Kid" My "two" good hands and his first brake job
One corner done, 3 to go after I teach him how to grind off the studs and change the drum. To cold to paint the backing plate right now, have to do it later in the summer when we tackle the king pins. This one won't take any grease even with a new zerk. The before pic didn't come out, but I'll bet the other side is the same with missing parts so I'll post that side later. All the adjuster "stuff" was missing except the star wheel and the spring running over it very loosely, don't know how it did not come unhooked while they were driving it.
No luck on the freeze plugs yet, the exhaust bolts are still soaking in penetrant

Plus trying to explain to "the kid" how to put one in is next to impossible, so he is going to help my nephew and see how it's done.
