Re: license Plate collectors ???
I have a good size collection. Lots of RI, 1908-present. Every state but South Dakota, mostly in the 50's and 60's. A few Australia, Middle East, Europe, Caribbean and Mexico. Still looking for more. I use them as around the top of the walls at my shop, crown molding.

Re: license Plate collectors ???
Hang on to them Vanny. I had a set that came on my 65, didn't realize what they were worth and used one of them for a piece of metal on another project(mistake!!!).

Re: license Plate collectors ???
I do its a fun cheap hobby. I generally won't pay more than a couple bucks for one. I try to label any signifigance it has on the back side. So years from now when the come down it'll mean something. Hope to get all 50 states someday, but I just don't want to go on ebag and start ordering them up. I like to hunt for then on vacations, at swap meets, etc..
a couple of my favorites. the old(er) Arizona w/ the cactus and the Wyoming cowboy.
Tennesse , cool shape.
my oldest. Minnesota 1921
The Pennsylvania plate on the left I got at the American pickers store in Iowa. the texas plate my wife surprised me with when I was having a really crappy day once.
Just thought the Idaho plate was cool.
Indy. house car and non-motorized vehicle. I'm guessing amish wagons or something?
