I've been working on my '64 and she's coming along nicely. Motor, Tranny, and front axle rebuilt. Working on the diff and painting the entire underside today.

Looks GREAT! I've always found it easier to R&R the engines from the bottom.

I have found it easier to leave the motor on the engine stand and lower the van down with the lift, then I install the cross member. Then support the back of the motor with a 2x4 and a chain across the doghouse or floor. Next pick the van back up with the lift and install the tranny. This how I put them in my gmc
