just in case someone is still in need of a set of front spring bushings for a 1964 to 1966 chevy
they are part # rb92 from general spring in olatha KS 18003993852 and i got the rear shackle bushings at rareparts.com BUT they were not quite right i had to use a steel spacer bushing to make them work

theses are the shocks that i used , there off of a 96 toyota pick up . i had to use the shims out of the old shocks because toytoa used a 1/2 bolt and chevy used a 7/16 or a 3/8 bolt ? I just cut the shim out of the old shock they worked fine .

these are the shackle bushings they were close but not right so i cut a piece of pipe and used it for a shim now they both fit nice and tite . I got them from orilies auto parts part # cl608610 for 17.44 you might get them derect from rareparts.com thats were they got them . they might even have a better fit ?
I could of sent them back but it just seemed easier to make them work .

Rock auto also has a listing for acdelco bushings as well as Raybestos bushings. Priced way better than Rareparts.

The highlighted number is the original. 3848684 - HB698
    Closest to original is HB533
Head is only 1/8th larger - ID & OD length are the same.

Now we just need to find a cheaper alternative for the front bushing on our rear springs.
