Here's the mandatory engine shot....Details:
30 over 1967 318
20 thousandths off the heads
10 thousandths off the block
9.5 to 1 final compression with a super thin head gasket (318s are hard to make compression on a rebuild..did the best we could without an exotic piston)
Small hydraulic cam
Bigger intake and exhaust valves in the early small chamber heads
Light port work and bowl blend/gasket match on the heads
Good springs, locks and retainers...I rev this motor to 6k and no worries
Edelbrock intake
Duster fitment headers
Mopar electronic distributor and orange box
Edelbrock 1406--switching to Holley 4010 cuz the Edelbrock is a piece of crap.
904 trans with custom trans mount and drive shaft
3:91 gears
Clean and fun and will surprise the tuner and diesel guys stoplight to stoplight.
Yes the cell phone pix do suck!!!!!!!!
