I was chatting with my neighbor the other day, we were talking about old drag races.  He told me that in the late 60's and through the mid 70's it was very common to see our vans at the races.  The local racers [non sponsored] not only used them to haul spare parts and tools, they also slept/lived in them during the race weekends.  Purty cool shtuff!

Not a one of those chicks are over weight... Like the girls are now a days. I sure miss the 70s.

Didn't see any in the background though... except 362 wit ha van AND the 'Vair!

The dodge is off the side of the pic here, just click on it to see the van.
The other 2 (unsure and Chevy?) are econolines.
The first has a reflector below the tail light, and the second has the obvious small window behind the door.
