Van Run / Campout

Family Friendly event

This campout will be held at my father's beautiful 1+ acre property hidden away on a dead-end road at the base of Mt. Si, on the North Fork of the Snoqualmie river.

All vanners and their family/friends are welcome.  Tents/RV's/Trailers also welcome.

Any of you into fishing, bring your fishing gear. I'm not a fisherman, but it is common to see flyfishers fishing the river that runs right past our family's riverfront property/campsite. The Hootenanny campsite is right on a slow bend of the North Fork of the Snoqualmie river.





Also, other attractions are a great local swimming hole just down the river a bit.

Wow, that's a heck of an advertisement!! Looks like a Fantastic site and many ways to keep everyone busy! Looks like a fun time will be had by all!

West Coasters need to support local state events, looks like a great one. If you live in WA you should try to make it or join the van club. Only way to truely bring back vannin is for it to grow out west

Thanks for the SUpport you guys! This eVANt is gonna be so awesome! For years I've wanted to have a van run at this little piece of heaven on the river... and my pops finally said yes, so its time for HOOTENANNY!!

Believe me, it really is one of the most beautiful campsites anywhere and we're going to have a real blast all weekend. I've invited several other local van clubs too

I used to live in Summerville Georgia & there was a campground a couple of miles from our house on the river named Hootenanny's that had cabins, camp spots & a little country store with the same name. There was also a river rafting outfit there that you could rent rafts, canoes & boats and take a 20 plus mile trip down the river. They would come & pick you up & take you back to the camp ground when the trip was through. Reading about your eVant brings back a lot of great memories of quite a few killer summers that my family & friends had there. I hope that you have a killer turnout man & sure wish I could attend.

I don't own a van right now (though I've owned several in the past). I'm looking for one. The closest thing I have to a van right now is a Ford Explorer. Can I come? Or is that a deal-breaker?

DEFINITELY YOU CAN COME!!!     Come to the hootenanny! See ya there. If you love vans, you're OK with us! Come meet everyone and chances are we know where to find you a cool vintage van.

There's a BBQ grill out there, so bring some meat to throw down. Its all pot-luck style, so everyone chip in and bring whatever ya want. I heard Ma is baking pies (yum!)

We're doing bag omelets for breakfast on Saturday. If you've never had a bag omelet, you're in for a treat!

We're camping in style this weekend, partying it up and pitching horseshoes down by the river. Its gonna be awesome.

We've got power out there now, puget sound energy came and turned the juice on.. got a port-jonny out there too so now we'll all have a place to go.

Muddy road going in... Welcome to the Hootenanny! We had ALOT of people here! 15 vans total and I did not count non-van vehicles... cars, jeeps, trailers, etc. Not sure of the total headcount, but we had a good turnout with several local van clubs in attendance!
