66 pickup under construction

Well, I am starting from a good base, but anything that's 47 years old can use some work. I will try and keep on updating this thread as I go.
Here is my original radiator (large one for a 240) that is ready for a re-core.

Here are some pictures after I pulled out the original water pump, thermostat housing, and other parts that were in the way:



Hopefully I can get the new pump, housing, and re-cored radiator all back this week.

looking good. It's always a good feeling when you get parts back and they smell like...NEW!!!.

Radiator finally in, hopefully back on the road tomorrow.

Out for a test drive today, and the heater core starts leaking....guess i will replace that too. I will try to get pics up tomorrow.

It's the heater cores way of saying "You cleaned the radiator, now it's my turn!"
